 I do a few things

IN SHORT

I'm one of the Co-founders of Big Serious Studios,

a Writers' Guild Award-winning screenwriter,

a director for animated television,

a children's television presenter,

a cartoon voice actor,

the author of Opposite Land,

a retired professional fairy,

and a lifelong learner.

BIG SERIOUS STUDIOS

I Co-founded Big Serious Studios, alongside industry veterans Katrina and David Peers, to pioneer new forms of children's entertainment at the intersection of art and science. I'm passionate about the transformative power of storytelling and the joy of lifelong learning, Big Serious combines both of these things to create television, films and story worlds that not only entertain but enlighten.

SCREENWRITING & DEVELOPMENT

My expertise is in writing and developing children's television. I've written 98 episodes across more than 50 shows for platforms including Netflix, ABC, Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon and Disney. I have a Writers' Guild Award for children's television as well as consecutive nominations every year, and I work across all children's demographics including:

Preschool: Kangaroo Beach, Guess How Much I Love You,

The Wonder Gang, Sydney Sailboat.

Bridging: Beat Bugs, Motown Magic.

7-11: Alien TV, Blinky Bill, Best Furry Friends, Spongo Fuzz and Jalapeña, Winston Steinburger and Sir Dudley Ding Dong.

8-12: 100% Wolf Seasons 1 & 2, Space Nova.

I have oodles of experience writing for animation, live-action,

factual programming and puppets.

BOOKS

I wrote and illustrated the graphic novel Opposite Land

published by Penguin Random House.

VOICE ACTING

You might recognise my voice in the Blinky Bill Movie or The Wild Adventures of Blinky Bill television series where I play Marcia the Mouse. I also play various characters in the Tashi TV series, Heidi series, and in Figaro Pho.

TELEVISION PRESENTING

I'm a host on all four seasons of Get Arty, which screened on Channel 7 in Australia and on Foxtel's Discovery Kids across South East Asia. I pitched and presented how-to segments for the show, including how-to: paint friend's faces to look like alien lizard people, draw ballerhinos (that's a ballet dancing rhino), and turn soy sauce containers into earrings (recycling but make it farrrshion).
